She was born Muriel May Minkus on September 5, 1927, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Boeck, her parents, George and Anna Minkus, and her brothers, Ernest, Oswald and baby Earl Minkus.

She is survived by her children Pat Boeck of Milwaukee, her son David Boeck and wife Pam of Norman, Oklahoma, Diane Boeck of Milwaukee, Sandra Glasbrenner and her husband Bill of Chicago, and Jennifer Boeck of Milwaukee. She is also survived by her grandchildren-Nathan Hursh, Katy Knight and Sam Boeck of Norman, and Amanda, Melissa, and Zach Glasbrenner of Chicago.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and friend- a truly kind, caring, thoughtful, and giving person. She was faithful to her Savior through her life, including her volunteer work with VCY Radio, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the Service League through Mt. Olive Lutheran Church.

Visitation Sunday January 1, 2006 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 5327 W. Washington Blvd, Milwaukee from 3 PM until time of service at 6 PM. Burial Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at Graceland Cemetery Chapel at 9 AM.
