They owned and operated the Conoco Gas Station and restaurant for many years. They later built Crossroads Supper Club and operated that the with help of her daughters, Suzanne and Dianne. When the supper club was destroyed by fire, Arlene moved with her daughter Vicki to Lolo, Montana to help her daughter Dianne and son-in-law Neil, operate Campbells Steak House. She has been living in Arizona for the past few years.
Family members include daughters, Paulette (James) Gatheridge, Humboldt, MN and Vicki Schumm, Fort Collins, CO; six grandchildren, Elizabeth (Dennis) Gatheridge Anderson, LeAnna (Richard) Scott, Matthew (Krista) Campbell, Joshua (Alexia) Campbell, Brett Niles and Jonathon Niles; 8 great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Neil Campbell, Port Isabel, TX; and a brother, Woody (Janet) Zielsdorf, Eau Claire, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; parents, Arthur and Martha; two daughters, Dianne Campbell and Suzanne and husband John Niles; and a granddaughter, Brooke Campbell.
Memorial services will be held in the spring of 2018.
