Mary Elizabeth Barclay was born 16 Mar 1849 and died 8 Jan 1870, she was the First Wife of Clifton Benge, married 13 Dec 1869. Clifton was an older brother of Pittman Benge, both sons of James Benge and Serena Shiflett. Mary E. is buried in Old Benge Farm Cemetery
