Amanda "Mandy" Marie Batty, 32, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2017. She was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on November 29th, 1985 to Joe Batty and Cynthia (Rinehart) Roe.

Amanda graduated from Paint Valley High School and Pickaway-Ross Joint Vocational School in 2004. She had a passion for hairdressing and makeup, and became a licensed cosmetologist. She was a free spirit with a kind heart and a big smile. Her bubbly and outgoing personality left a lasting impression on all of those she encountered. Amanda loved fashion, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends laughing, smiling and joking.

She is survived by her mother and father, two sons; two brothers; three sisters; and his grandparents. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Mandy was preceded in death by her father Joe Batty, grandmother Marjorie Rinehart, and grandfather Bernard Rinehart.

The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the funeral service.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home and Southern Ohio Cremation Services in Jackson.
