She was born on September 30, 1941 in Courtland to Earnest Raymond and Frances Lucille Cosby McMinn.
She was a native of Clarksdale, but had resided in Nettleton for the past 16 years, was a retired district office administrator for the social security administration in Tupelo, and was a Baptist. Beth enjoyed reading, going fishing, playing computer games, and being with her family.
Survivors include...
two daughters: Fran Brown (Doug) of Nettleton and Vicki Wood of Clarksdale;
one sister: Brenda McMinn Martin of Alabaster, AL;
four grandchildren: Melonie Morris (Scott), Donald Wood, III, Charlie Wood (Nicole),
Paula Cox (Johnny);
seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Joseph Borgognoni (to whom she married on December 9, 1959) and her parents.
Visitation was on Saturday from 1 p.m. until time for services at the funeral home in Clarksdale.
Services were on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale with the Rev. Charles Langford officiating.
Pallbearers were Charlie Wood, Donald Wood, III, Scott Morris, Eddie Belvedresi, Jeff Bridges, and Johnny Brown.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in Clarksdale.
