FRED BRUSHABER
Fred H. Brushaber, 80, of 2900 W. Youngs Rd., Gladwin, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, in the Bay Medical Center, Bay City, after a short illness. Born in Cheboygan Oct. 4, 1906, he had spent most of his life in Gladwin County and farmed. Mr. Brushaber and the former Nellie Hinkley were married Dec. 18, 1926, in Flint.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Frank of Newaygo and Lavon (Bud) of Pinellas Park, Fla.; one daughter, Bessie Ritchie of Gladwin; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ida Snider of Saginaw and Mrs. Anna Colbeck of St. Charles; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Services were held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Robert Kauffman officiated and burial was in the Highland Cemetery.
