Gladys D. Reno, age 104, a lifelong resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the residence of her daughter, Karen Reno, where she resided the past 26 years.

Gladys was born on September 20, 1914 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy Johanek Musil. Gladys was a graduate with the first graduating class of Lincoln High School.

She married Willard Reno in 1937 in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1985. Gladys dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with all of them.

She is survived by six children: Darwin (Noretta) Reno, Manitowoc; Richard (Darlene) Reno, Whitelaw; Charlene (Gordon) Strauss, Manitowoc; Ronald (Sally) Reno, Manitowoc; Karen Reno, Manitowoc; Davis (Yvonne) Reno, Manitowoc; 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, one daughter-in-law: Geraldine Reno, Manitowoc; one son-in-law: Daniel Fabers, Valders; many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Dorothy Musil; husband: Willard; daughter: Joan Faber; son: Kenneth Reno; eight brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Deacon Alan Boeldt with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Following the committal services at Evergreen Cemetery there will be a reception held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
