Elmer R. Anderson, age 70, 821 Camden, Ferndale, died in North Detroit General Hospital, Detroit. He was a mechanist for the Ram Meter Co, Ferndale and a veteran of World War I.

Mr. Anderson was born Feb 22, 1899 in Wisconsin. His wife, former Selma E. Hansen [Hanson] died July 19, 1968. Surviving are his 7 children, John [residing in] Wayne, Mrs. George (Shirley) Watkins residing at 3226 Thomas, Berkley, Robert [residing in] Fairfax, VA, Mrs. John (Edith) Montroy [residing in] Erie, PA, Mrs. Lawrence (Kay) Orchard [residing in] Detroit, Mrs. Edward (Arlene) Lester, [residing in] Detroit, Albert of the Camden address; 2 brothers Fred, [residing in] Union Lake], Lester [residing in] Caro, MI; 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The Rev. David D. Allen, Calvary Baptist Church, Hazel Park, will conduct funeral services at 1 PM., Friday, at the Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home, 120 South Layfayette, Royal Oak. Burial will be in Oakland Hills Cemetery, Novi.
