Edward Muse "Benny" Benois, Jr. 70 of Roanoke, Va. passed away in peace while surrounded by his family and friends on Friday December 8, 2017 at RMH. He attended Bible Baptist Church in Garden City, Va. Benny was born on August 1, 1947 to the late Edward M and Helen Benois.
Benny served his Country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he began a 35-year career with the United States Post Office until his retirement in 2009. His self sacrificing and giving to others was a testament to the beauty of his heart and soul, his presence and humor will be missed by all that knew him. He loved the game of golf and college football Hook em Horns.

Benny is survived by his sister Pam and husband Arlie (Ed) Kimberlin of Roanoke, VA. One niece Tina Kimberlin Jones and husband Jimmy of Gordo, Alabama, Tina was the light of his life. Great- niece Jordan Jones, great- nephews Hunter and Brady Jones of Gordo, Alabama.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 11, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke. A celebration of Bennys life will be conducted at 11 am, Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Lotz Funeral Home.
