Agnes Curran Carnevale, 94, died Wednesday January 20, 2016 in Mount Pleasant, SC. She was married 67 years to Hall of Fame Basketball Coach, Ben Carnevale, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her five children, Jeanne Taylor Hansford, Robert, Daniel, David and Mark Carnevale, two brothers, Neil and James Curran, 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren. Agnes was very much an athlete herself, playing golf and tennis. She loved to paint, attend the Opera and was involved with various hospital auxiliaries for over 50 years. She was an avid Bridge player, but particularly enjoyed dinner Bridge with Ben and their friends. Agnes lived most of her life in Annapolis, MD and Williamsburg, VA. The Family would like to thank the Nurses and Staffs at both Williamsburg Landing (Williamsburg,VA) and Franke at Seaside (Mt. Pleasant, SC.) for their loving care and devotion to Agnes. Interment will be at a later date in Annapolis, MD.
