Miss Edson was born May 13, 1914, in South Bend, Ind., and she moved to Portland as an infant. She was a retired accountant and a longtime member of Hinson Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her niece and caregiver, Nancy Johnson; and nephews, James H. Johnson Jr. and Gary Edson.
