Helen Marie Armstrong 94, passed away November 28, 2017 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Helen was born March 2, 1923 in Connerville, Oklahoma to Jinks and Ruby Martin. She married Vowell Armstrong November 10, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas. Together the couple raised their three children,Kathy, Lynn and Gary. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Helen is preceded in passing by her husband, Vowell Armstrong; parents, Jinks and Ruby Martin; sisiter’s, Naomi (Willie) Altendorf and Linda Jones; brother’s, Jinks Jr., and Earl and Jackie Martin and her great-grandchild, Darian Robertson. She is survived by her children, Cathy Ford, Lynn Armstrong and his wife Peggy and Gary Armstrong and his wife Kim; grandchildren, Lisa Ford Speer, Kevin Ford and his wife Dorothy, Jami Armstrong Anderson and her husband Todd, Erik Armstrong and his wife Michelle, Brad Armstrong and his wife Krystal and Amie Armstrong Johnson and her husband Steven; great-grandchildren, Kristen, Joseph, Gavin, Jack, Chase, Ryan, Lauryn, Lyndsey, Veronika, Chandler, Hailey, Braden, Ady and Porter and one great-great-grandchild, Keaton and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be 9 am to 1 pm Sunday 12/3/17 at Floral Haven Funeral Home
