Ralph Thomas Satterfield, 76, of Kittanning, died on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, in ACMH Hospital. He was born July 17, 1941, in Farmington, W.Va., to the late Milton Junior and Juanita Marion (Whitlatch) Satterfield. He was a retired Communications Engineer with Alltel in Kittanning. Ralph also served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed his grandchildren, wine making, fly fishing, hunting, and tending to his yard. Ralph leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth "Libby" Satterfield; sons, Matt (Judy) Satterfield of Sugar Grove; Ben (Julie) Satterfield of Kittanning; and Erin (Carrie) Satterfield of Ford City; grandchildren, Laura, Nathaniel, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth, Emily, and Jacob; great-grandson, Lukas; and sister, Emma Lou Bowersox of Milton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Mary Lou. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 6-9 p.m. in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. John Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Kittanning Cemetery.
