SERVICES HELD AT BOWMAN FOR FRANK PETERS
Funeral services for Frank Peters, 77, were conducted from the Bowman Lutheran church at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, with Rev. P. L. Ensrude officiating. Pallbearers were Olaf Aasen, Darrel Peters, Harold Schade, Gordon Loder, Kenneth Richards, and Art Hinkley. He passed away at the Tri-State Hospital at Bowman Saturday evening, April 22. Frank Peters was born March 11, 1884 in Beverton, Michigan, where he grew to manhood. He moved to South Dakota in 1910 and in 1911 homesteaded in Harding county, S. Dak. He was united in marriage to Julia Olson May 3, 1923 in Scranton, N. Dak. The couple lived and ranched near Buffalo, S. Dak. until 1936 when they moved to Watertown, S. Dak. After spending several years in Watertown, they moved to Washington after which they came to Bowman, N. Dak. where he resided for until his death. Surviving are his wife, Julia and two sons Edwin and Donald and three grandchildren. He has seven sisters and two brothers. They are:
