Mr. Colby Brian Brooks, age 20, of County Road 415 Crossville, Alabama died on Friday, December 22, 2017.

Service will be held at McRae Chapel on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at two o’clock p.m. Bro. Chris Watkins and Bro. Kevin Brooks will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Lathamville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from ten o’clock a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.

Colby was born in Alabama on August 15, 1997 to Brian & Shontee Brooks. He was a student at Snead State and worked at Red Barn Animal Hospital with plans to be a veterinarian.

Colby is survived by his parents: Brian & Shontee Brooks of Crossville, Brother: Colin Brooks of Crossville, Sister: Rubee Brooks of Crossville, Grandparents: Rhonda & Mike Creel of Boaz, Harvey & Cherrie Brooks of Crossville and Johnny Osborn of Crossville, Great Grandparents: Calvin & Doris Nix of Crossville, Grace Brooks of Albertville and Peggy Roden of Collinsville, Aunts & Uncles: Tonya & Scottie Haynie of Boaz, Jason & Amy Brooks of Boaz, Sabrina & Jeff Hamilton of Crossville, Johnnie & Haley Osborn of Crossville. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother: Charlotte Brooks and Great Grandfather: Elmer Roden.

Pallbearers will be Bryar Mintz, Tyler Gillilan, Zach Neisler, Trey Knott, Hunter Tarvin, Reagin Langley, Deonta Tillman, Clay Culbert, Tyler Aaron, Jacob Walls, Seth Cason, Ganon Pointer, Cameron Copeland, Blake LeMaster and Taylor Camper.
