A great man of faith. His was a life in Christ well lived. Woodrow Prewett, of Adamsville, AL passed away Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017 at the age of 100 years old. Very few people ever experienced life the way he did. Brave and honest, his word was always his bond. He led a complete and full life. "Big Bo" was a marine combat veteran of WWII. He served at Guadalcanal, New Briton, and the Solomon Island chain. He was a devoted Christian and church member. He served faithfully at Midway United Methodist Church for over 70 years. He was a world traveler and loved spending time in the great outdoors. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dora Ellen, his daughter, Jane Ann and his siblings, George, Richard, Hershel (Mary), Charles (Janie), Maude (Joe) and Theresa (LA). He leaves behind to cherish his memory, two sons, sister-in-law, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Midway United Methodist Church, Adamsville on Saturday, Dec 23rd at 11:00AM. Funeral service will follow at 1:00PM at the church. Internment will be at Midway Cemetery.
