Mrs Leslie Chaffins Abdon, 45,
wife of Edward Abdon, 2430 Gallia
street, passed away at 4:30
p.m.Thursday at Mercy hospital.
She had been ill four weeks
and death was attributed to a
diabetic condition.
Mrs. Abdon was born Oct. 5,
1896, at Load, Ky.
Surviving are her husband,
two children, Mrs. Mildred Phillips
and Maynard Abdon at home,
and a granddaughter, Patricia
Ann Phillips.
She also leaves these sisters
and brother : Mrs Eva Burton,
James Chaffins of Nonchalant
Ky John Chaffins, Mrs Essie
Archie of Bennett, Ky., and Mrs.
Effie Bradley of Fullerton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30
Saturday at J.R.Morton and son funeral
home,with the Rev.W.M.A, Oakes officiating.
Burial will be in Load cemetery.
The body is at the residence until the funeral hour
