M. Dale Dougherty

Indianapolis - 88, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2017. He was born in Johnson County on March 22, 1929 to the late Clarence and Mayme Dougherty. Dale proudly served our country in the Unites States Air Force. Dale graduated from Clark Township School and Indiana Central College.

Dale is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Dougherty; four children, Bunita (Stephen) Conlin, Myla (Greg) Risk, Bradley (Vicky) Dougherty, and Clay Dougherty; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, Myron Dougherty.

Friends and family are invited to Leppert Mortuary, 740 E 86th St., Indianapolis on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 29, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Indianapolis, 8600 N College Ave., Indianapolis, at 10:00 a.m. Dale will be laid to rest at Acton Cemetery.
