Evelyn M. Knauer-Ammon (nee Donboch), age 90, of St. Charles, Missouri, December 23, 2017. Beloved wife of the late George H. Ammon; cherished daughter of the late Howard and Mabel Donboch; devoted mother of Susan (Gary) Smith; loving grandmother of Christine N. (Christopher) Grau; and treasured great-grandmother of Helena N. Grau, Vienne E. Grau, Lisette K. Grau, and Adelise B. Grau.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Russell P. Knauer, and her siblings, Mary Ella Keonig, Ruth Saxe, Katherine Orr, Esther Hafner, and Howard Donboch.

Evelyn and her first husband, Russell Knauer, served as special pioneers on the Sioux Indian Reservation in South Dakota. She loved telling jokes and studying and talking to people about God’s Kingdom. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
