Early Life: Bertha was born August 21, 1910, in Lehi, Utah, to John and Margarett Marn Wilcox Brems.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: On December 3, 1930, she married John Quincy Adams in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was very talented and loved singing, playing the organ and guitar, writing poetry, reading literature and quilting. She had two nursing certifications. Bertha was an 80-year member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and held many positions. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she also held many callings. She also served a local mission with her husband John Q. She loved serving and caring for people. Bertha Elthera Brems Adams passed away December 22, 2017. She was 107 years old.
Survived By: Her children: David (Shirley) Adams, Francis Adams, Jane (Roy) Herman, Cleora Olsson, and John B. (Sue) Adams; 29 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, John Q; a daughter, LuDene Adams Newman; her parents; her seven siblings and a granddaughter, Suzanne Adams Knight.
