SWANTON, VT. - Noreen Rita (Maloney) LaTour, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, December 20th 2017 at the Giordano Manor in Swanton, Vt.
She was born on February 18th 1958 in Northfield, Vt., she was the daughter of Raymond Michael Maloney and Patricia "Pat" Anne (Osborne) Scheffley.
Noreen graduated from Mt. Mansfield Union High School in 1976.
She spent her early adulthood on the shores of Cape Cod and in Richmond, VA, before moving back to Burlington, Vt.
She met and married the love of her life; Michael Anthony LaTour on November 17th 1979 at the First Baptist Church in Burlington, Vermont. He predeceased her on April 22nd 2012.
She was employed as a Sales Clerk at J. C. Penney's in Burlington, Vt.
She dedicated her life to her family and loved learning, animals, children, and genealogy.
In addition to her husband; Michael LaTour, she was predeceased by her mother; Patricia Scheffley on October 13th 1983.
Arrangements by the Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Home on 97 Elmwood Avenue in Burlington, Vt.
Later interment will be held at the Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington, Vt.
