Lisben Adam House passed away at his home in Bonne Terre, Nov. 11, 1933 after an illness of heart trouble. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Bonne Terre Church of God, conducted by Rev. Gower of Bonne Terre, assisted by Rev. Lawson of Flat River and Rev. Hambrick of near Farmington.

Interment was in the Germania Cemetery, with the Boyer Undertaking Co., of Desloge in charge.

Lisben Adam House, son of the late Milton and Belle House, was born September 13, 1871 near Bonne Terre, Missouri. On September 27, 1894, he was united in marriage to Miss Lula Gann of Bismarck, and to this union ten children were born. He is survived by his widow and six children: Minnie, Rosa House Wigger, Norma, Roy, Harry and Cletus; also four brothers: J. House, Frank House, Melvin House and Benjamin House; three sisters: Mrs. Ada Straughn, Mrs. Maxine Brokencamp, and Mrs. Kitty White; a stepmother and seven grandchildren.
