Debra K. Story graduated from Western Hills High School in 1974. This track queen attended Texas A&M and TCJC.
Deb worked for Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD for 13 years. She was very active in her community as PTA president of Bryson Elementary, Sunday school director at Saginaw UMC and room mother for many years.
She was a proud supporter of her children and all activities they participated in. These many activities included Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, track, dance and anything else her children wanted to do.
Debra was also very supportive of the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life and Race for the Cure. She shall survive in all our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, James Montgomery Story III.
Survivors: Children, Jimmy Story, Shyanne Story, Ray Story of Saginaw; grandson, James M. Story V; parents, Kay and Nancy Cornelius of Fort Worth; sister, Tina Briscoe of Fort Worth; brother, Kerry Cornelius; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and friends who love her.
