Elizabeth Carol Parr Stallings passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 2017 at the age of 70.
Originally from New Orleans, La, she resided in Amite, La for over 20 years.
Born on October 20, 1947 to the late Edward Joseph Parr and Grace Flora Burgess.
She is survived by her husband of many years, Russell Edward Stallings. Mother of Lisa M. Ortiz (Norman), stepsons James Stallings (Sue), Russell “Rusty” Stallings, Johnny Stallings (Madeleine), two granddaughters, Jazmine Kidd (Richard), Tasha Wamstad, two grandsons, Ryan Dougherty and Eric Stallings, two great grandsons, Nathan Boswell and Mason Molina. Siblings, Albert “Beanie” Parr, Edward Parr, Michael “Uncle Mike” Parr (Valree), Barbara A. Kokemor, Deborah A. Cutrer, Charlotte Diaz, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Harry J. Parr and Cheryl A. Prather.
A factory worker and homemaker, she was always a thoughtful and caring person. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
Funeral mass on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home in New Orleans.
Interment will follow mass at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
