Services for Ada Beatrice Stough, 1215 West Second, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Kirby Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Stough died at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital on February 2. Mrs. H. W. Bullerdiek was the organ accompanist for J. Thomas Dixon, who sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "Peace in the Valley." The Rev. C. M. Nutter officiated. Andrew Barlett, Dude Jones, Fred Nungesser, and Lawrence Lipscomb served as casket bearers. Interment was in Belle Vista Cemetery.
Mrs. Stough, a native Missourian, was born Jan. 26, 1899, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Cooper. She had lived in El Dorado since her marriage in Wichita on Sept. 22, 1925 to Peter W. Stough, who preceded her in death on October 26, 1968.
Surviving are one stepdaughter, Mrs. Stella Marie Yeager, San Francisco, Calif., and one son, Carl, of 4060 Cessna, Wichita. (El Dorado Times, Feb. 6, 1969)
