Aaron Randall Smallwood Jr., 36, of Frederick, passed from this life on Sunday, December 31, 2017 in Hagerstown, MD.

Born on February 9, 1981, in Frederick, he was the son of Aaron Randall Smallwood, Sr. of Frederick and Marilyn Patricia Lyles of Charles Town, WV.

He was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1999. Aaron enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, and horse racing. His favorite football team was the Tennessee Titans, most of all, Aaron loved his children, Alejah and Ayanna and his mother and father.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughters, Alejah and Ayanna Smallwood and their mother, Kimberly Valentin, all of Waynesboro, PA. Aaron will also be remembered by numerous aunts and uncles and cousins; and special friends, Wanda Valentin, Brenda Prescott, Brandy Shawyer and Sandy Burras.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick.

A celebration of Aaron's life journey will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick. His grandfather, Bishop Lyles, will officiate. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
