Mrs. Elizabeth Bush, a resident of Whitehouse Station for 90 years, died at the age of 96 at her home there Sunday, Dec. 19, 1943, after ten weeks' illness.

Born in ILlinois, she was he daughter of the late James and Isabelle Sloat. Her husband was the late John H. Bush, who died in 1926. She was the oldest member of the Whitehouse Methodist Church and always took an active interest in the affairs of the church.

Funeral services were held from her late home last Wednesday with the Rev. Norman C. Yetman, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating, assisted by the REv. Andrew A. Burkhardt, pastor of the Whitehouse Reformed Church. Burial was in Rural Hill Cmetery, under direction of John G. Brokaw of Lebanon.

Surviving are five sons, Charles, John C. and Frank of Whitehouse Station, George of Washington, and Fred of Potterstown; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Voorhees and Mrs. Gussie Dilley of Whitehouse Station, and Mrs. Vincent F. Roche of Whitehouse Station, one brother, William H. Sloat of Keiper, Okla. and 31 grandchildren.

Her obituary was published in the Hunterdon County Democrat on Dec. 30, 1943.
