James F. Fariss CHESAPEAKE - James F. Fariss, 80, passed away July 6, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents and a daughter, Susan Dodge and was a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen Fariss; a daughter, Sharon Fariss Dossel and husband Will; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Carson and husband Bill and Alta Pugh; a brother, Claude Fariss and wife Betty; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Fariss. Services will be held in Roanoke, Va. Cremation & Funeral Services of Tidewater assisted the family.
