Mike was a farmer and cattleman, Trustee of Mt. Sterling Library, a Muzzle loading gun enthusiast, Conservationist with NRCS, an avid cyclist, and he loved canoeing, kayaking and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert F. and Helen June (Schmidt) Bergman; and wife, Kathryn Anne Bergman on Dec. 15, 2008.
He is survived by son, Benjamin Bergman of Mt. Sterling.
A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018 at Big Plain Cemetery. All are welcome to attend. There will be no public visitation.
Arrangements were made under the direction of PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling.
