PAULA ANN MILLER
(1927 - 2012)

Paula A. Miller, 85, of Kohler, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Libby's House in Plymouth.

She was born February 23, 1927 in Hougton, MI to the late Louis and Helen (Copeland) Braun. In the summer of 1946 Paula took a summer job at the Salvatorian Center in St. Nazianz. It was during this summer that she met Clarence John (C.J.) Miller. Paula and C.J. were married December 28, 1946 in South Range, MI.

Paula and her husband raised their family in St. Nazianz and enjoyed many summers at their home on Cedar Lake. During this time, Paula pursued her degree in Elementary Education and graduated from Silver Lake College with a Bachelor's Degree in 1969. She taught elementary school for over 15 years, later supporting children with reading difficulties.

In retirement, C.J. and Paula enjoyed spending summers in Wisconsin and winters in Florida and California. She was a volunteer at St. Nicholas Hospital and Habitat for Humanity. Paula enjoyed reading, playing cards and spending time with family.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann Twohig, the Twohig children, Peter; George (G.J.) and his wife Caroline, their daughter, Catherine Anne Brotz-Twohig; Michael and his wife, Katie, and their children Finnegan and Maggie; her son James Miller; her daughter Kay Miller; her daughter Kim Miller and her husband Thom Evans; their son, Connor Mc Dermott and daughters, Elena, Mara and Jenna Evans; her son, Robert and his wife, Melanie and their children, Madison and Copeland.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Miller, two brothers, George and Bob Braun.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 12:00 p.m., at St. Gregory Catholic Church (214 Church Street, St. Nazianz) with the Rev. Patrick Nelson officiating. Friends may call on Saturday, at the church, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment to follow in the St. Gregory Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Bookworm Gardens in Sheboygan.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the dedicated team of caregivers and Mary Pitsch, Geriatric Care Manager. We would like to thank our brother, Jim, for his love and compassion shown to our parents.

Paula will be remembered for living her life with elegance and grace. Throughout Mom's life, her children always came first and she taught us many important life lessons. Some of these life lessons were the importance of laughter and that "Tomorrow is another day."
