Julia was the daughter of Ephraim Clough Hoyt/Hoit and Melissa Aldrich. Her birth calculates to March 1854, but her brother was born in 1854 and she was always listed as born about 1856. She was either born in Bethlehem, NH or they had moved to Carroll, NH by the time she was born.
Between 1870 and 1878 she married Charles L. Sedgell, son of Joseph H. & Asenath Sedgell. In 1875 her mother had married his father.
They had six children but they appear to all have been stillborn or died shortly after birth. So far I only found 3 birth/death records for them. A stillborn son Jun 14, 1879; a daughter Jun 29, 1885 - Jul 7, 1885 (listed as 5th child); a stillborn daughter Jun 27, 1887 (listed as 6th child).
