Obituary from Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Shreveport LA:

Funeral services for Carman Louise Gray, 90, will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Brother Ron McClellan of Gloster Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow services at Centuries Memorial Cemetery.

Carman was born on December 13, 1927 in Malvern, AR to Attie Mae Reeves and Louise Childers and left to be with her Lord and Savior on January 3, 2018.

Mrs. Carman was a longtime resident of Keatchie, L. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She was a member of Gloster Baptist Church and The Eastern Star.

Carman was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, William J. Gray and her only daughter, Tonia Lewing. Left to cherish her memory are her 3 grandchildren, Christopher Gray and wife, Brittney, of Keatchie, Jessica Scarlett and husband Michael of Stonewall, and Rachal Lewing of Stonewall and her son in law, Eddy Lewing of Stonewall; 3 great grandchildren, Mason Gray, Hudson Gray and Samuel Scarlett and lots of extended family and friends.

Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff and Willis Knighton South for their care.

Honoring her a pallbearers will be Trey Carter, Jeremy Lewing, Brian Buford and Dakota Horn.
