My Special Notation: Edith (Spriggs) Baratier FAMILY, also owned a Farmstead on the Baratier Road (across from Hastings Cemetery...) which was also adjacent with the Benson's + the Bowen's farms who were both of my MATERNAL GREAT-GRANDPARENTS.
The 'original' barn on the SPRIGGS / BARATIER Farm STILL stands, however, the current owners of the land have built a new Southern Colonial styled farmhouse to replace the old original farmhouse that was way over 100 years old + had become quite deteriorated over the years. RRW
