Betty L. (Diltz) Fenstemaker, 88, Bloomsburg, died at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at the Signature Health Care at Bloomsburg facility, where she resided since April 2016.

Born in South Centre Township, on July 20, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Alvin F. and Myrtle E. (Benjamin) Diltz.

Betty resided in Almedia for many years before moving to the Franklin Place Apartments in Bloomsburg in 2011.

She was a member of the Berwick Bible Church. Reading the Bible was a daily part of her life. She enjoyed playing the piano, cooking, reading Amish books, and visiting her friends and family.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle L. “Ike” Fenstemaker, on April 28, 2006; and by two brothers: Doyle A. Diltz and Sheldon E. Diltz.

Surviving are a brother, Ronald R. Diltz, and his wife, Camille, Millville; a sister, Margery, wife of Byron Mensinger, Bloomsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Ronald M. Beach of the Berwick Bible Church officiating. Interment will be in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
