Grandparents are Ray and Margaret Smith of Benton, Ill.; Anne Smith of Abingdon; and Gene and Marna Graves of Gilson, Ill.
As a small child, Charity attended the Macomb School District. before finishing her educational years in Abingdon (Ill.)School District graduating in 1995. Charity was a trained C.N.A. caregiver. At only 4'10" tall and 81 lbs, family members often called her "Bug"
Charity's smile won many hearts.
She enjoyed writing poems, collecting antique jewelery; she was a huge St. Louis Cardinal fan, loved pets and a photography buff.
She was a 16yr. member of the American Legion Auxiliary, unit0381, in Abingdon, Illinois.
