A graduate student in the New England Conservatory, Beverly had a beautiful singing voice. She had plans to finish her studies and move on to a professional career in New York City, particularly at the Metropolitan Opera Company. Her lovely voice was a fixture in the choir for the Unitarian Church near to her residence in the Back Bay area of the city.
