Gary L. Jaeger, 33, of 3517 County Highway J, Cato, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, Jan. 12, as a result of a snowmobile accident.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John and St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. The Rev. Harlyn Kuschel will officiate and burial will be in West Side Church cemetery, Reedsville.

Mr. Jaeger was born Dec. 2, 1951, at Manitowoc, son of Harold and Lucille Lau Jaeger. He was employed by Behnke Grain Systems of Reedsville. He married Lindy Haelfrisch, Sept, 28, 1974, at St. John and St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Mr. Jaeger was a member of Reed-Way Sportsmens Club, past president and board member of Collins Snowmobile Club.

Survivors include his wife, Lindy; his parents, Harold and Lucille Jaeger of Manitowoc; a son, Eric at home; two daughters, Heidi and Jill at home; a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Jim Mattes of Route 1, Valders; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Anita Haelfrisch of Route 2, Reedsville; four sisters-in-law and six brothers-in-law, Kathy and Paul Kiekaefer of Route 3, Reedsville, Randy and Nolan Haelfrisch of Conroe, Texas, Kristi and Tom Sebo of Route 3, Reedsville, Nancy and Stan Wehausen of Valders and Mark and Giles Haelfrisch of Route 2, Reedsville.

Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until 11 a.m. Wednesday and then at the church from noon until the time of services.
