Glen Lee Davis, II, was the first born son of Lieutenant Colonel(retired) Glen Lee Davis, Sr., and Nancy Joy Holmberg. He was born in a blinding snowstorm at Ireland Army Community Hospital on Fort Knox, Kentucky.

This area will be expanded, but he was a certified culinary chef and served in and managed several restaraunts, including Ukrops, Carrabbas, Texas Roadhouse, Bob Evans, and The Pilots Warf at Coles Point.

As a seven-year-old military dependent, he was in the Republic of Panama for the 1989 invasion of Panama called, "Operation Just Cause." On the third day of the conflict, he, his infant brother, and his mother were placed on then Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney's Leer jet and were transported on Christmas Eve from Howard AFB, Panama, to Andrews AFB, Maryland. They were delivered in tropical clothing in the snow, on the far side of the Air Base, without sponsors. "Merry Christmas!" His grandparents drove them from there to Hagerstown, Maryland on Christmas Day, 1989, and Dad stayed behind to fight in Panama.

In his later life, he was disabled by a back injury and spent time trying to write a book.

He died in Hospice Care of multiple organ failure after two weeks at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center and was buried in the Davis Family Plot in Hagerstown, Maryland.

PLEASE NOTE: The link to his "Father" below is actually to his "Grandfather," who is buried beside him. I'm not dead yet, and I'm not planning to join him anytime soon. Glen, Sr.
