Bonnie Buckler Adams lost her short battle with cancer, November 4, 2016. Bonnie was born in Atlanta on July 13, 1952 to Rosamond Harmon Buckler and the late Al Buckler. She graduated from Avondale High School in 1970 and attended the University of Georgia.

During her career she worked for DeKalb Federal Bank, Hidden Hills Golf Club where she met her husband, Sam, American Home Equities and Weight Watchers.

Bonnie and Sam have resided in McCormick, South Carolina for the last 20 years. Bonnie loved antiquing, reading, following her UGA Bulldogs and taking care of her beloved cocker spaniels, the latest being Tillie. She was a member of Avondale First Baptist Church.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 36 years, Sam Adams, three step daughters, her mother, Rosamond Buckler, her brothers, Bobby Buckler (Jane), Dr. Steve Buckler (Nancy), Lon Buckler (Paige), numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Avondale Community Club at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Bonnie's name to the McCormick County Humane Society, PO Box 900, McCormick, South Carolina 29835.
