LESLIE FRED ERWIN, 90, of Ona, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Paul Meadows. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.

He was born November 2, 1927, in Huntington, a son of the late Frank and Alta Ferrell Erwin. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Patsy Ross and Jeanie Hamlin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, with 13 years of service and also served during the Korean War. He was a retired employee of AEP and was a member of the American Legion Post 16, Huntington.

He is survived by his wife, Recie Adkins Erwin; two daughters, Karen Eubanks and Renee Erwin, both of Ona; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Carla Erwin of Ona and Darrell and Nancy Erwin of Thornton, Texas; two sisters and brother-in-law, Theresa Bradshaw of Lakeland, Fla., and Iris and Tom McCoy of Barboursville; one brother and sister-in-law, Everette and Michiko Erwin; grandchildren, Kristy Lewis, Sgt. Justin and Samantha Erwin, stationed in Germany, and Brittany Eubanks, all of Ona; and great-grandchildren, Kaysen and Kayden Erwin.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
