ISHMEL RAY "EPPIE" HATFIELD, 80, of Branchland, W.Va., passed away Monday, January 1, 2018, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, W.Va., by Rev. Robert Hatfield. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery.

He was born June 19, 1937, in Cabell County, a son of the late Eustace and Verda Childers Hatfield. He was a Christian, and a member for over 55 years of Madison United Baptist Church, where he also served as a Deacon. He retired from ACF Industries after 30 years of service.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Marcella Ross Hatfield; one daughter, Dr. Tina Sias and her husband Kent of Kitts Hill, Ohio; one son, Dallas Hatfield and his wife Jennifer of Branchland, W.Va.; one sister, Helena Adkins and her husband Ronald of Salt Rock, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Eric Sias, Justin Hatfield and Jordan Hatfield. The family would like to especially thank Eppie's caregivers, Roy Lowe, Heather Clay and Margaret Childers.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, W.Va. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
