Ruby M. Delaney, 84, a native of Ogdensburg and widow of Fred Delaney, died at 3 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 24, . 1975) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William (Geraldine) Mastine, 151 Lakeview Ave., Syracuse. She had been in failing health for some time.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the McLellan Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours at the McLellan Funeral Home will be Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Surviving, besides her daughter, are two sons, Keith Delaney of North Carolina and Richard Delaney of Syracuse.

Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was born at Ogdensburg, Dec. 28, 1890, a daughter of John and Cordelia Landry Jellie. For 17 years, she had been a saleslady at Friedman's Dress Shop, Ogdensburg. She retired 25 years ago when she moved to Syracuse, residing with her daughter since that time. She had been separated from her husband, who predeceased her, for many years.

She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral parish.
