Gloria Theresa Hardy, age 91, passed away on November 19, 2017 in Randallstown, Maryland. Gloria was born on October 17, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Sarah Blackwell and the late Harvey Blackwell. Beloved wife of the late George Isaac Hardy; loving mother of Girard N. Hardy, Michael H. Blackwell, Gloria Wharton, Rene Whitaker, the late Michelle Denise Murray, the late Charles Anthony Hardy, and the late George Isaac Hardy, Jr. ; dear sister of Clarice McClain, Virginia Matthew, Anthony Blackwell and Vincent Blackwell; cherished great grandmother of the late Paul Waynne Jones, Jr. Gloria is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family members and friends will honor Gloria’s life at the St. Jude Shrine, 512 W. Saratoga St., Baltimore, Maryland 21201 with a viewing from 9:30am-10:00am where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow beginning at 10am. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday, 11/29/17 at 10am.
