She was born February 16, 1970, in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Emmett Roger Warren and Phyllis Kay Gardner Warren. Michelle was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Wesley Wesleyan Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Rose Benfield; a brother, Emmett Roger Warren, Jr.; and an infant sister, Vickie Lee Warren.
She is survived by her husband, Paul William Benfield of the home; a son, Johnny Ryan Benfield of the home; three brothers, Michael Raymond Warren and wife Julie of Hickory, Jimmy Wayne Warren and wife Barbara of Lincolnton, and Timothy Scott Warren and wife Judy of Taylorsville; and a special great-niece, Allie Page Tipton.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Mt Wesley Wesleyan Church. Rev. Scott Atkins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00–3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
