Nancy was born on December 3, 1952, daughter of Richard Piasecki and the late Arlene (Lord-Payette) Piasecki. She attended St. Luke’s Grade School and graduated from Roncalli High School with the class of 1971. She then graduated from U.W. Oshkosh in psychology in 1975. Nancy worked at Lakeside Packing in quality control for many years and then at Leede Research in Manitowoc until time of her illness. Nancy was a self professed liberal Democrat and had a keen interest in politics and world events. She served on the Worship Committee and Social Concerns Committee at the former St. Luke’s Parish. Always a champion of social justice, she strongly believed in the dignity of human life from birth to death. She enjoyed many crafts, and made silk flowers for all of her niece’s weddings. Nancy was a Packers fan and an avid watcher of the Food Network.
Survivors include her father: Richard Piasecki, Two Rivers; one sister: Judy Delfosse, Two Rivers; nieces and nephews: Greg Delfosse, Two Rivers, Marilee (Peter) Weaver, Whitelaw, Penny (David) Lutterman, Whitelaw, Lori (Phillip) Kunesh-Carrasco, Odessa, TX, Dennis (Kim) Delfosse, Comstock, WI; and special friends: Nancy Censky, Roberta Poradeck, Sue Nokes and Janet Johnson. Great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by one brother: Charles Piasecki; one niece: Holly Delfosse; and one great nephew: Adam Delfosse.
Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
