Richard F. Piasecki, age 92, a Two Rivers resident, died early Friday morning, January 12, 2018 at his residence.

Richard was born on January 19, 1925 in Two Rivers son of the late Charles and Caroline (Cherniarwski) Piasecki. He was a Navy Veteran serving during WWII on the USS Bradford. On June 3, 1952 he married the former Arlene Lord-Payette at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Two Rivers. She preceded him in death on November 22, 1999. He began his employment as the owner/operator of Arlene & Dick’s Bar in Two Rivers, where he sponsored many local teams. Richard later worked for Mirro and then retired from HMF in Manitowoc. He was a member of the Holy Redeemer Men’s Club and the Two Rivers Senior Center. Richard was the assistant coach for golf at Roncalli High School. He enjoyed golfing and bowling and was inducted into the Manitowoc County Bowling Hall of Fame. Richard was an avid Packers, Brewers and Badger fan. A highlight of his life was being recognized for his military service on the Honor Flight to Washington D.C.

Survivors include one daughter: Judy Delfosse, Two Rivers; five grandchildren: Greg Delfosse, Two Rivers, Marilee (Peter) Weaver, Whitelaw, Penny (David) Lutterman, Whitelaw, Lori (Phillip) Kunesh-Carrasco, Odessa, TX, Dennis (Kim) Delfosse, Comstock, WI; 9 great grandchildren; and 17 great great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by one son: Charles Piasecki; one daughter: Nancy Piasecki; one granddaughter: Holly Delfosse; one great grandson: Adam Delfosse; and one brother: Frank Piasecki.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
