Mae H. Bennett 84, of Spencer, died Friday, March 13, 1992, at Roane General Hospital, following a long illness.
She was born in Rosedale, where she owned and operated a retail business for several years. She was a charter member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Kincaid of Spencer and Mildred Davis of Canton, Mich.; one son, Richard Bennett of Rosedale; one sister, Melissa Hanna of Ravenna, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Bennett.
Services wre held Sunday at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Earl Clough officiating. Burial was in the Mill Fork Cemetery, Rosedale.
