Mrs. Pearl Roane Crittenden, wife of H. Temple Crittenden, died at 7:25 o'clock Sunday morning in the residence of her husband, 631 Cooke street, Park View, after an illness of a year's duration. She was 28 years of age.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, a sister, Mrs. C. R. Cottrell of Newport News, as well as two others, E. M. Roane and M. A. Roane of this city, and H. L. Roane and C. A. Roane of Newport News. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis B. Roane, also survives her.

The funeral took place yesterday afternoon in the Roane residence, and at the conclusion of the service the body was conveyed to Oak Grove cemetery, where the interment took place.

Rev. H. W. Davis, pastor of the Park View Methodist Episcopal church, officiated, and was assisted by Rev. R. D. Stephenson, pastor of the Park View church, and Rev. Charles H. Babcock, pastor of Friends' Evangelican church.

The pall-bearers were Lewis Anderson, Eppa Roane, Andrew Roane, Lloyd Adams, Walter Clark and Charles Lively.
