WRIGHT, CAROLYN ROBERTS age 80, of Hoover, AL, born September 4, 1931, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Garza Dayton Roberts (1898-1988), and Ruth Young Roberts, her son, Gary Milton Wright, and a granddaughter, Ashley Wright Lumpkin (Bill).
Carolyn was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, Grandmother and Great- Grandmother.
Carolyn was survived by her husband, Jesse Milton Wright, Jr., who was her high school sweet heart; two children, Randy Terrell Wright (Sally) of Sanford, NC, and Lisa Wright Wilson (Pete) of Madison, MS; eleven grandchildren, Christian Alexander Wright of Atlanta, GA; Gary Seth Wright (Krysee) of Trinity, AL; Shelby Wright Turner (Brad) of Pinson, AL; William Terrell Wright and Charles Edward Wright of NC; Daniel Cooper Wilson, Benjamin Wright Wilson, Matthew Robert Wilson, Joseph David Wilson, Emily Jane Wilson, and Anna Caroline Wilson all of MS; seven great grandchildren, Autumn, Hannah, Abby, Heidi, Madeline, Abel, and Isabella; two sisters, Billie Ann Roberts Fuller (Harold) of Birmingham, AL, Mitzi Roberts Garner (Jeep) of Franklin, TN.
Her Brother Dayton Young Roberts died two months after her death.(1930-2011).
Carolyn's passion was her family, who will always remember her unfailing love, strength, loyalty and generosity.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 28, 2011, from 12:30 - 2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. Services will follow at 2 PM. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
