William E. Baldwin, 87, of Nashport, died at 10:19 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2006 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born June 5, 1919 in Zanesville, a son of the late Clarence A. & Grace M. Waters Baldwin. He retired from Continental Can Company, was a presbyterian by faith and was a World War II and Korean Conflict Navy Veteran. William was and avid gardner loved to fish and was passionate about horses and horse shows. Surviving are two sons, Dana Baldwin of Zanesville and David(Mary)Baldwin of Frazeysburg, five grandchildren, Troy Baldwin, Tara Baldwin, Sarah Baldwin, Chad(Julie)Creeks and Jamie Creeks, three great grandchildren, Rylie, Kayla and Kaitlyn, three nephews, William R.(Carol)Baldwin of Zanesville, Rick(Kim)Bowman of Nashport and Dave Bowman of Newark. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death his wife, Georgia Montgomery Baldwin, who died October 30, 1998 ,by three sisters, Louise Clester, Florence Burlile and Betty May Bowman. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold full military rites at the grave.
